The switch hardware was outdated when new. Nostalgia and $60 ports. Tired of getting robbed by Nintendo. Much more impressed with my PS5. I will give Sony my money until Nintendo creates a console with actual current generation hardware.

If we look at the past, how companies treat their products.
I think the switch 2 will not have a Oled panel.
I think they will put a IPS panel on it like the Steam Deck.
Still good but still a downgrade if they would do so.

The thing is that there are several titles that do not run well on the switch right now because of the current hardware being outdated.
I never had a switch and want to buy one right now, but it concerns me that a new switch will come out that will allow me to play the games at 60fps and I'll would want to buy it. Leaving my brand new switch on the shelf forever.

I think the next nintendo console, they're going to stick with the mobility but also have a docking station where you can connect to and it'll improve the system's graphics by a large margin.

I'm starting to see sort of a trend in the PC market where docking/eGPUs could potentially make a big comeback because of mobile PC consoles are gaining some popularity (steam deck, ayaneo, asus ally, etc.)

Right now, there is no PC handheld that it can connect to and fully maximize the performance gained from an external GPU.

If Nintendo can figure out how to find that solution first, then their next console would definitely be a hit. That's why I'm very interested in the Asus Ally seeing that they have their own proprietary connector available on it. If that handheld can connect to an external GPU and it performs exactly like a regular desktop GPU, then its game over.

I take it the switch will be 100% forward compatible with a switch 2. It just won't do anything greater than 1080p and be technically limited as it is. A switch 2 would be upgraded hardware and software running the same games on a more powerful system. Like how a gtx1080 and a rtx4080 both play the same games using the same game files.

I said this so many times but I’m SO sick of my OG switch that I don’t play that much anymore and hope for AT LEAST an announcement ASAP .. just to know that waiting for a little bit longer would be rewarding ..
when the switch first came out I never complained because it was a whole new idea, but now I have SO MUCH to complain about .. I just want it to be better, large OLED screen, high quality graphics and better frame rate, BETTER JOY CONS, larger storage, better chip, better online service, and so much more .. I just hope they listen and finally give us what we waited for because I’m not going to get an OLED, I’m not that rich and it’s not a worthy upgrade.

After watching the video, I was coming into the comments to say something hateful. But the big problem these days are the ones that spout leaks and rumors. People these days are just stupid. All you ever hear on YouTube is BS from insiders like some I shall not mention, cough"JeffGrub"cough, or especially Switch Force and Nintendo Prime. 🙄🙄😒😒😡😡 My advice people, limit your YouTuber Subscribers, don't listen to them, and don't give them likes, or your time. When people are ready for a new Switch or Nintendo console, Nintendo will announce one when they are good and ready.

It been 6years for the switch not 7 because the switch was released by 2017 and we don't count the year of 2017 for the first year we count the first year of 2018 for the switch so that means it been 6years for the switch and I hope for the next original gameboy gba gbc online for the switch expansion pack the classic online games we get is Pokémon for original gameboy GBA GBC online for online battle and online trade for the switch online expansion pack and I also hope the switch2 will last for another 10years since be released n the year of 2026 and I hope for the switch online expansion pack we get is 6 original gameboy gba gbc snes nes n64 Sega genesis games every 1to2 months
