No point to buy more game for Nintendo Switch since Nintendo Switch 2 coming out next year
Stop doing the mario kart holiday bundle!? a price drop would be better....
I don’t have a gaming console and now I’m thinking of maybe getting a switch. Do you think it’s better to wait for the new switch next year?
I can't see a switch 2 in 2024... As you always need a main game to sell it and don't think anything major is releasing next year!
Failing? lmao
I really hope whatever Nintendo puts out after the Switch is capable of more in terms of graphics and performance. I'd love to see a Nintendo console capable of pushing out 1080p resolution at 60 frames per second.
Aside from that, I hold out the faint hope for the slim chance Nintendo has some kind of backwards compatibility for games on the original Nintendo Switch for whatever console they push out after it (especially if said successor is capable of 1080p 60fps) so I can go back and play some of my favorites from the Switch like the Xenoblade games and Breath of the Wild.
There isn't going to be a new nintendo console anytime soon. Nintendo fully plans on using zelda ports to carry them through the next year and then pokemon and mario kart 9 before the announcement of the next gen which will probably still take another year after announcement. so we're probably looking at holiday season of 2025 or spring of 2026 at the earliest.
Man saying crazy every 5 seconds, guess everything is just crazy. lol like gezzz
Absolutly insufferable and misleading title and thumbnail lol imma block your shit
That don't deconfirm a new switch for spring 2024, as they wouldn't just announce a new switch now. Higher odds that it won't release sooner then this though.
Title's a bit clickbait-y because while the sales of hardware have slown down tremendously, software sales are still high and still has some heavy hitters on the way. It's natural for a console this late into its lifespan begin to peter out in sales for one reason or another. The more important thing to note is that we're not expected to get the successor to the Switch before Spring 2024, which does mean that the slowdown will be felt more throughout Nintendo. However, that's why those heavy hitting titles are more important since they'll help keep things afloat even when console sales spiral down due to natural progression
Switch has sold around 120 million so even if a new console comes out you still have 120 million switch owners, like PS4 I expect some support for switch for at least 2 to 3 years.
i mean, the only consoles that have sold more are the DS and the PS2, i wouldn’t exactly say it’s failing…
Hold it Nintendo is up to something like they actually cancelled the Nintendo Direct for a certain reason like they cancelled it so they can work on something Huge which I think that they just wanted to cancel the Nintendo direct to actually postpone it besides Nintendo is working with Xbox I heard!
If Nintendo is working with Xbox now could be a good thing or a bad thing which I would like to see some of the games that are on the Xbox come to the Nintendo Switch and wouldn't that cause more buyers to actually get to play there favorite games that were not the Xbox and now Brought to the Nintendo Switch 1 and Nintendo Switch 2!?
Bad thing could be about the Xbox wanting to change the Nintendo Switch System design which can be good or bad but change is actually a good thing!
This is just what I'm thinking they're doing and I know that I could be wrong about certain things that I said but I could be right about it as well! So we just have To wait and See what Happens!?
Once tears of the kingdom releases on Friday and the limited edition totk switch oled on sale now and older switches like neon red and blue lowering in price recently I think they might sell a few more but after summer I think it will be mainly ps5 consoles that sell the most as ps5 slim should be released in September to December time.
I mean switch a healthy sales life in it’s younger years, but yeah this is just the natural conclusion when it’s time to get something new. The switch is 6 years old now
Switch is the console version of DB xenoverse. They will NEVER have a new one, and keep supporting the old one like its still new 🤣
Nintendo problem is that haven’t done a price drop? Because maybe that will help
Nintendo fix raise game prices to $70. Make games prices stay about the same for years
