Mandalore the Ultimate, was the leader of the Mandalorian people during the Mandalorian Wars. Born on the planet Mandalore and as a member of the Taung species, he was trained for war from a young age. He became the leader of the Mandalorian Crusaders and led them into battle against the Old Republic. He was known for his red cape, battle armor, and helmet, which once belonged to Mandalore the Indomitable. Mandalore the Ultimate was considered one of the most powerful warriors of his time and tended to fight with overwhelming force and war droids. He was one of the last Taung to claim the Mandalore title and was known to some as the "Great Shadow Father" He sought to lift his people from the hole of betrayal and humiliation that plagued them since the Great Sith War With highly advanced equipment and weapons he dominated the battle field. He wore an armor made of Mandalorian iron, also known as Beskar, that was highly resistant to blaster fire, lightsabers, and other types of attacks. He carried a personalized helmet that had a long T-shaped visor and a jetpack that allowed him to fly through the air. His primary weapon was a customized Mandalorian ripper, a melee weapon that could cut through almost anything with ease The Ripper was a large vibrosword that he carried with him during battles. It was a symbol of Mandalore the Ultimate's leadership and prowess in battle. Mandalore the Ultimate had a strong mentality towards Mandalorians. He saw them as the greatest warriors in the galaxy and believed that they should be united under his leadership to conquer the galaxy. He was highly respected by the Mandalorians, who saw him as a leader who could bring them glory and honor. He was also known to be highly intelligent and strategic, able to make decisions that would lead his army to victory. Mandalore the Ultimate disliked the Jedi, as most Mandalorians did, he saw Jedi as weak and inferior to Mandalorians. He believed that the Jedi Order was holding the galaxy back and needed to be eliminated. His strong disdain for the Jedi due originated from their interference in the Mandalorian Wars. The Jedi Order, who were opposed to the Mandalorian aggression and the war they waged on the Galactic Republic, intervened in the conflict by supporting the Republic's forces. This intervention ultimately resulted in the defeat of the Mandalorians. Mandalore viewed the Jedi as meddlers and interfering do-gooders who prevented the Mandalorians from achieving their goals. Additionally, the Mandalorians held the belief that the Jedi's use of the Force was a cheap trick and not a true measure of strength. Mandalore's hatred for the Jedi may also have been fueled by a sense of pride and honor, as the Mandalorians saw themselves as superior warriors and resented being defeated by those they deemed inferior. Mandalore the Ultimate engaged in a one-on-one battle with the Jedi Knight Revan on the planet's surface. The details of the fight are unclear, but it is known that Mandalore was killed in battle, and his helmet was taken by Revan as a trophy. His death was a turning point for the Mandalorian people, who were forced to retreat and eventually lost the war. Despite this, Mandalore the Ultimate is remembered as a hero and a symbol of Mandalorian strength and honor During his reign, Mandalore the Ultimate changed Mandalorian culture in significant ways. He created the Mandalorian Neo-Crusaders, a military force that brought the Mandalorian people together and allowed them to conquer other worlds. He also implemented a new code of honor for the Mandalor Now Mandalore the Great was a Mandalorian leader who held the title of Mandalore in The Mandalorian show on Disney plus. He led a series of conflicts against the Jedi Order in ancient times. By the time of the New Republic, the Jedi had become a myth, though the battles between Mandalore the Great and the Jedi were known to some Mandalorians through ancient songs. He was known to have rode into battle riding a mythosaur, leading the mandalorians. It is is said whoever can tame the mythosaur beast and ride it into battle again one day, will lead all of Mandalore once again. In this lore documentary we explore the history of the Mandalorians. This episode focuses on the Rise of the Mandalorians with their Crusaders and Neo Crusaders. The video begins with the origins of the Mandalorians which legends trace back to the warring Taung tribes on the primitive world of Coruscant. Following a climactic war, they were forced to abandon the planet, finding a new home in the outer rim. From here the Taung would slowly rebuild their civilization. In doing to they would forge a new warrior culture. These raiders would be given purpose by Mandalore the First who reformed them into the Crusaders. These now launched into the stars. Over the following centuries, the Mandalorian Crusades would carve a bloody swath of destruction across the Galaxy. At their height, these Crusaders would challenge the Old Republic and go toe to toe with the Jedi. It would be these great Mandalorian Wars which would greatly expedite their military evolution. The two sides would ultimately face off in a climactic war between Mandalore the Ultimate and the Jedi Knight Revan. Din is back with the children of the watch, and in a surprising turn of events, so is Bo-Katan Kryze. This season isn’t going the way I thought it will at all, and I love it. Now the biggest reveal of these first 3 chapters is the Mythosaur. The return of this mythical creature could change everything for the Mandalorian going forward. So we got to explain the significance of the Mythosaur, why Bo-Katan is keeping its existence a secret and what will she now that she joined the Mando cult. And what it means for Din and Grogu, because don’t forget about the importance of the darksaber. Whoever wields it can rule all the Mandalorians, combine that with the Mythosaur, and things are about to get really complicated for Din and Grogu. And that’s because we think season 3 is setting up a major conflict that will become a Mandalorian civil war. Alright, at the end of chapter 19, Din is welcomed back to the covert after he took a nice swim in the mines of Mandalore. But the even bigger surprise is that Bo-Katan is also accepted into the covert. The Armorer welcomes her into the children of the watch because Bo bathed in the living waters and didn’t remove her helmet since. Doug: So she joined the cult now too? Well, that’s where this story gets really interesting. I simply cannot believe that Bo genuinely wants to join the cult. What might be happening here is she merely biding her time to formulate a proper plan. Don’t forget, that a lot of things happened to her in chapters 18 and 19. Bo-Katan was simply skulking on her brooding chair, and then Grogu shows up and they’re off to save Din on Mandalore. After saving Din, twice, she sees the Mythosaur, a legendary creature that was believed to be extinct. Before she can even start comprehending what it all means, the trio is attacked by the empire and her castle gets destroyed, including her brooding chair. And then all of a sudden she joins a cult. So she didn’t really have any time to wrap her head around the whole Mythosaur thing. But the legendary creature is at the center of what is coming next. Doug: so what is this Mythosaur even is. Ok, so Mythosaurs are really big creatures that basically inspired the Mandalorian culture. And I have to say, the beast is way way bigger than I imagined. I was sure that the Mythosaur will be slightly bigger than a Rancor, sort of like a dragon in House of Dragon. But Mythosaur looks like he’s closer to Godzilla’s size. The Mythosaur is an important symbol for all Mandolorians. Long ago, a Mandalorian tamed the beast and rode it. That hero became Mandalore the Great, a title given to the leader of the Mandalorian people. The skull of the Mythosaur became the symbol of all Mandalorians. Since those ancient times, the Mythosaurs were believed to go extinct. Up until Din went for a nice swim of redemption in the living waters. Down in the mines, Bo-Katan witnessed the giant creature. According to the Armorer, the ancient stories foretold the return of the Mythosaur will bring a new age [clip] Now I assume that these “songs” were known to all Mandolorians, meaning Bo-Katan is aware of the legends of the Mythosaur. And now that she discovered the mythical beast she might believe that it’s a sign that she is destined to tame the Mythosaur and become the new Mandalore the Great. Doug: But what about Mando? True, if not for Din trying to walk on water, he wouldn't have been pulled into the ruins beneath, and Bo would never have seen the Mythosaur. But Din was unconscious, so he never really witnessed the Mythosaur himself. Bo-Katan was the one who discovered the mythical beast, so in her mind, this must be a sign from the force, proof that she is the one who will herald a new age for Mandalor.
