Mix very well, shaking is best. Check the paint often to make sure that the all the talc is incorporated. Use on any dull surface such as raw wood, plastic, metal. In this video, I am making beautiful and delicate vintage jewelry or cosmetics box. I show you how to make a three-dimensional decor using a stencil and patinate it, create the effects of an old gilded surface. We also make decoupage and decorate the box with fittings. I used the following materials: - MDF wooden box - size 14 * 19 * 8 cm (4 * 4 * 3 inches) - stencil - I have a stencil with a vintage patterned canvas (I only used the side curls to create a pattern on the corner of the box) - finely dispersed textured paste - acrylic paints of these colors - dark green, light green - solvent-based liquid bitumen - solvent-based patina wax, green gold color - napkin for decoupage in a floral pattern - glue for decoupage - water-based acrylic finishing varnish - fittings - 1 handle with a karmic medallion and 4 twisted legs - odorless solvent. Instruments: - synthetic flat brush (large for paint, glue and varnish and small for interior painting) - palette knife - sandpaper - wet and dry wipes. This week, is a roadside furniture makeover with decoupage and chalk paint! For this curbside furniture find, my challenge was to transform this from trash to treasure with only a budget of $40. Using leftover materials I had at home and the dollar store items for the remainder, I was able to transform this trash to treasure dresser using some chalk paint and decoupage! Using leftover furniture glaze from a previous furniture makeover to give some texture to the mirror was the final touch that was needed for this furniture makeover transformation! DIY Vintage Jewelry Box - DIY Home Decor DIY In this video tutorial, I am making a delicate vintage jewelry box. I show decoupage techniques and create volumetric decor using molds, as well as the technique of two-phase craquelure. I used the following materials: - a round wooden box made of natural wood - diameter about 15 cm (about 6 inches) - napkin for decoupage - I have with delicate small flowers - glue for decoupage - water-based acrylic glossy lacquer - silicone molds for voluminous decor - self-hardening mass - acrylic paints of such colors - as white, yellow, black, ocher, carmine red - means for 2-phase craquelure - finishing varnish polyurethane water - glue universal transparent - accessories - decorative legs, hinges and a lock. In this video I am giving an old dirty table a glamorous furniture makeover. I picked this up on Facebook Marketplace for $10.
