I'm going to apologize in advance for the audio in this video. I was too lazy to move my good mic to my test bench, so the first part of this video sounds a bit like trash. Also, I'm aware the intro is way too loud... bad editing on my part. In this video, I go over how to configure a Unifi Access Point for the first time. In a previous video I reviewed the Ubiquiti Networks Unifi 802.11ac Dual-Radio PRO Access Point (AP). This is a follow up video expanding my network by adding on an Ubiquiti Networks UniFi AP AC Lite. In this video I show you the size of the AP AC EDU and also give a brief demo. This unit is very impressive. The diameter is ~12 inches and the depth is around 5 inches. It comes with an adhesive template for cutting the hole out of your ceiling tile. There are some undocumented features to the system, such as being able to connect to it with SIP. We will likely use this so we can page using the system from our existing phone system. Для таких ситуаций производитель предусмотрел работу точек доступа в режиме Stand Alone, для которого контроллер не требуется. Все что нам понадобится это сеть из ТД UniFi подключенная к маршрутизатору с DHCP и выходом в интернет. Настройка UniFI AP производится с помощью мобильного приложения для iOS и Android с одноименным названием UniFI. Созданная беспроводная сеть также будет поддерживать «бесшовный» Wi-Fi.
