A New Fire Emblem game is announced. And its MAINLINE now! Today's video is a reaction/first impressions of Fire Emblem Engage. What does our new protagonist, Alear, have in store for us? - In a war against the Fell Dragon, four kingdoms worked together with heroes from other worlds to seal away this great evil. One-thousand years later, this seal has weakened and the Fell Dragon is about to reawaken. As a Divine Dragon, use rich strategies and robust customization to meet your destiny—to collect Emblem Rings and bring peace back to the Continent of Elyos. Team up with iconic heroes from past Fire Emblem games Summon valiant heroes like Marth and Celica with the power of Emblem Rings and add their power to yours in this brand-new Fire Emblem story. Aside from merging appearances, Engaging lets you inherit weapons, skills, and more from these battle-tested legends. The turn-based, tactical battle system returns with a fresh cast of characters you can customize and Engage to carefully craft your strategy. - #FireEmblemEngage, #fireemblem, #FE17
I chuckled at “what does that mean” after the date 🤣
Theory time;
Now that we’ve seen that Lumière, Alear’s mother had light blue hair AND that people that « fall » to the fell dragon’s power’s hair goes red don’t you all think this could point to split-haired Alear being the child of BOTH Sombre the dark fell dragon and Lumière the light divine dragon ?
The memory loss thing could play into this, this could become a twist (and a callback to awakening since this opus is kind of celebratory of past games and full of references)
Faerghast can get a vid of you just basically teaching French. I mean your accent is amazing.Please I've been watching before you showed the world zeke.
honestly storywise im excited there doesn't seem to be an avatar to pander to like the recent entries. i dont wanna be THAT person that complain about the recent games because i did enjoy them, and evidently so did a large number of ppl which saved fire emblem as a franchise. but idk this "back to basics" concept proving that the developers arent afraid of including or removing anything is rlly cool.
The fun in Fire Emblem has always been being able to couple things together, so now they're letting us combine 2 characters into one, one real and one in a soul-like state, kinda like digimon?
Me: wow this looks so bad.
Faerghast: FE never looked so gorgeous!
Glad I'm not the only one who noticed how fucking SWOLE Marth was in the mural. Man's out here looking like OG Movie Broly.
How many FE crossovers are we getting until it just gets old?
Like, we just have many relics and weapons that just rip open rifts to other dimensions regularly
Welcome to Fire Emblem persona lol. Think TMS but this time IS is making it.
Je suis vraiment contente a propos du jeu ! J'adore le fait qu'on peux appeler avec les anneaux les anciens perssonage de Fire emblem !
Je viens du Quebec aussi contente de savoir que je suis pas la seule a aimé ces jeux 😊
Marth is so pretty in FE17, holy tooth of Naga! 😭
In terms of the timeline, the Dragon's Gate can also allow travel through time (and at a non-linear rate), so if this game is intended to actually fit into the greater lore that isn't really an issue.
"mainline"
Lol. This looks disposable af. I'm waiting on the successor to Three Houses.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Alear's VA is the same as Limstella in FEH right? They sound somewhat identical, both having softer voices
Really mixed on this. It's a new FE so automatically excited and the game looks great in terms of environments and models but I'm not a fan of the designs of the MCs at all and the fanservice is off putting for me. I would prefer to the characters and story to focus on new characters
IT's fire emblem but also Persona...
With the leak being real, that means the remake of FE4, is actually coming.
I wish they’d bring back character customization. Toothpaste-chan and the purple haired MC are killing me ;-;
With the rings and the old characters, it feels like they took hero summoning from the mobile FE game and just made a full proper game with it. Nothing featured with the story or lore in the trailer that would suggest this game has something original. Especially compared to three houses.
I gotta say tho, the cut scene look great for a switch game, we'll see how that translates, and they spiffed up the presentation with the combat and menues. However, looks like we're gonna go back to the 1v1 feel of battles instead of the squad vs squad feel that three houses has.
Also, Fire Emblem has Stands now. ayyyy
