Very nice
I've beaten thracia 776 somehow despite its sheer hatred for the player, the fact that wands and vulnearies can fail, & its love for ballistas. I HATE Reinhart because of the chapter 22 map. Guess which map is leif's paralogue in engage
Soo, having now Personal seen beileths face in 3 houses and the map graphics, i can not immagen the audasity they have to complain about fe engages artstyle
Many sales dont equal great game. Its a factor, of course, but I am seeing ALOT of people complaining about its lack of character depth and development, bland story, ect.
Some people of course dont care about all that and just play for the battles, but there are just as many who need characters they can connect with and story that keeps them invested and moving forward, and that's not a happy crowd. Here on many Youtube videos, on Gamefaqs reviews, and elsewhere most people are saying the same thing. Incredible gameplay, beautiful scenery and better graphics and performance, but terrible one note and forgettable characters and a yawnfest generic story with no depth or inspiration.
Of course, you have your haters that won't like ANYTHING the game does because they hate this genre, and you have the fanboys who think the franchise can do no wrong and defend it with an unreasonable amount of zeal. But realistically speaking, 3 houses was better in more ways that it wasnt. What people were hoping for from what I have read and heard, was this games combat mechanics, with the deeper and complex stories, characters, and alternate routes of past games. I pretty much have to agree with them on this. I was done with this game after a couple of days, with no desire to run through it again. But with three houses, I was invested in that one for months. And I'm sure most will feel the same way when they finish this and then think back on that one. Engage was great in some ways, but its missing alot of what made three houses the breakout success it was.
Rain Code looks amazing
It seems that Engage is too underrated sadly..... especially in Amazon review. I wonder if Ryza 3 will surpass Engage's selling, for Ryza 2 and Sophie 2 was nice as well.
The one good thing I'll say about Engage is it made me appreciate past games so much more. This game, story and character-wise, taught me that a story and the characters in it within a series could always get soooo sooo much worse. This is coming from someone who LIKES, maybe even loves Fates. You'd think I'd be much more receptive of this, but dude this game has made me question the money I've spent from the hours I work at my job more than a few times. I just got it not long ago and I want to say im like a little less than half way through it and I've thought of putting it down which no FE game has done to me. This is a beast of another kind. Feels like I need to put on a gas mask when that dialogue starts.
I am LOVING Engage... This is my first entry in the FE series... Thanks for so much coverage /knowledge and hype!
Just finished FE Engage main story last night on hard difficulty (all paralogue, 1-2 skirmishes) and the total time was around 60 hours. Truly an awesome game. I'm going to take a breather from it for a while, but I am excited to try new characters and builds in Maddening mode playthrough.
Hear the story and characters are garbo
The game was awful my god, the story was so childish and cringe, what a dissapointment bah, good thing i didnt buy it but emulate it before i was gonna buy it.
“Fire emblem did THIS”
Never heard Switch being comparable to steam
Interesting multi platform doesn’t always do better cuz bigger audiences
VLBxeJcBynE&t=4m53s 4:53 I don’t think Midnight Suns is forgotten I think people are just waiting for the Switch version that style of game fits portability the best
It’ll get second wind on switch
At least I hope so
I’m very disappointed with fire emblem engage unfortunately.
I love fire emblem so much and I never stopped playing a fire emblem game mid game before I’m stunned
Been loving engage. I have been plying a crap tonne of relay trials. It’s fun seeing other players units. Alot are expected, but every once in awhile you get a unit you would not expect like a sage Alear.
Fire emblem engage is quite legit the perfect game for switch it's just like heros but vetter
this is my 1st fire emblem and i love it
I agree bro. I tend to buy exclusives more bc I think they're more special than non exclusives. Never underestimate tribalism
