Really dislike that there’s only one story path tbh, a lot less replay ability, this is even more enforced when all of the reviews have said the story is weak, so the focused path doesn’t do anything for it
it seems fire emblem are always trying new things and i'm glad it seems to work for them. i was always interested in fire emblem ever since i saw the one that was on the gamecube. sadly i didn't have one at the time and ended up forgetting about it. the first one i ever played was awakening and was blown away by it. play that and fates i absolutely loved the who romance and have a kid aspect and was a bit disappointed when it wasn't in 3 houses. also, i liked the fact you could kinda make the protag to your liking and was hoping that would be in 3 houses as well. looking back, those was something newer to the series as well and was something i was accustom to cause of the first two games i played. i've gotten over and fell in love with byleth and 3 houses and can't wait to play engage and see what kind of story colgate-chan will have. i just hate how they have returning characters from previous games and i don't feel anything for them cause i never played the older games. i feel like i'm missing something great cause of it. i will say i'm happy they decided not to have branching stories like they did with fates and 3 houses. it was fun and all, but i just don't have the time to invest in games like i used to and want to play the same game 3 times just to get the full story. it why i hate when games have multiple ending
A focused story makes canon and everything else added in the future more coherent and easier to make. When you have too many branching paths it becomes difficult to account for and just leads to very weak stories for one, two or all paths.
To be honest I don't like the art stlye but everything else I'm down for
This game is honestly looking incredible, I'm so hyped
Bring back old fire emblem amiibos and I will be collecting tho's for sure.
I'm excited for the actual black characters
She is crazy cute. Whoever designed her did a great job 👏
Did this game come out?
So glad Engage is one focused story I love Fates and 3H. But the multiple stories was honestly exhausting especially with DLC. Engage is honestly looking like it'll honestly be my personal goty even over Tears of the Kingdom & FFXVI. Three Houses was such a phenomenal game and Engage is looking like it's taking what 3h did and just made it better
They need to make the next fire emblem game as big as three houses with all these new features from engage
Best thing I've seen of that game are the wolves.
Fire Emblem meets Persona with the Rings!
How is my man a functioning adult and doesn’t know the word “tertiary?”
It's cool that there's one path again, but will there be choices to make hopefully? I heard rumors about your hair changing colors depending on your good or evil alignment.
The Amiibo stuff looks cool, but here's what I don't get - I get the Marth amiibo unlocks the Marth music/outfit etc. What about Micaiah or Lyn who don't have Amiibo figures? Are the outfits just unlocked randomly with any Fire Emblem Amiibo? And say, a Mario Amiibo would just unlock basic things like Gold, Materials, the like etc?
Feel like three houses art looks better
This has made me even more hyped for this game! 😁
Just hearing the word gotchya gave me shivers for a sec
