my favorite fire emblem games are Fire emblem three houses, awakening and fates for me these are the best games of the saga i really like them :D
Echoes is top tier, you are just bad at the game.
Other than actually enjoying echoes I agree with this list 100 percent. We need a path of radiance remake with modern qol support
Mostly agree with the list, other than Sacred Stones not being the top 3 based solely on the story and characters alone. I can remember so many characters from the game, whereas in other ones I can usually only remember the names of the main characters.
Dude, absolutely loved this. I've been playing FE on and off for years now. I totally agree with your points on Modernisation and Quality of Life, I never played path of Radiance or its sequel so its great to hear about that.
Shadow Dragons was so old I couldn't enjoy it at all.
Your guide straight to the point, bought up relevant subjects, which literally make or break for some players and your were funny whilst doing it.

Echoes is enjoyable, but It's crazy how so many people have it as one of their favorite fe games. It's way overrated

What did you think of three hopes? I personally loved it, undoubtedly the best warriors game beating out og hyrule warriors, I can't say its the best FE game because its really not an FE game though it is close and if they do decide to make a change its heading in a good direction. My favorite was the radiant series, can't pick one, they are equal to me a little give and take with the features, love 3 houses leveling and combat though, the story was good but at moments it put me to sleep, especially cindered shadows, it was so confusing and weird I couldnt follow it, it was too hard honestly I just wanted to get it over with and get back to the main game where things made sense. And it was a little disappointing rarely ever getting a new unit, I mean it let you focus on training who you had but there were alot of annoying douche nozzles (looking at you and your haircut Lorenz) laying around that I couldnt let die because there would be no replacement.

I'm... surprised you liked Fates so much. It's usually rated quite near the bottom of all the FE games.
Hoshido side is boring as all death, with every map having the same objective, and it being brain dead easy.
Conquest is lit gameplay-wise, aside from a map or two that's too gimmicky, but has a bad, BAD stupid story,
And Revelations has no advantages to it besides getting most of the characters. It's plot is moronic, and it is mostly brain dead again.
Like mechanically it's great, but the actual vehicle it's in is busted, and all the roads lead over a cliff.
Echoes was so good. This was a weird watch.

About Fates: Yes, Setsuna is the real waifu, but also Hoshido (the so called good guys) killed the entire family of their enemies, while Nohr (the supposed bad side) spared everyone's lifes and took them as prisoners. I'd say it wasn't as obvious as you stated.
